Hello lovelies! I have a mini post for you all on this beautiful Monday. I did a little shop at my local Bath and Body and had to restock on some of my favorites. These are pretty much the classic body creams that Bath and Body Works have sold over the past years and I had to share my favorites with you guys!
For starters, I'm not an avid lotion applier-person. Haha, scented lotion can sometimes dry my skin out even more and make me itch. Especially Bath and Body Works's lotions. These are body creams, however, and do not do that to my body. I normally apply these after I take a shower and just lather it on!
Pearberry- If you are into really fruity scents, I highly recommend this one. It isn't insanely sweet and sickening. It leaves a very pretty scent on and smells like you've just walked through a patch of raspberries and picked some pears in the warm sun! (Very descriptive, Natalie).
Sweet Pea- This is a classic. Everyone has either used this scent or seen it as they browse all of the scents in Bath and Body. It's your fresh, floral scent and is always a go-to when you don't know which to get.
Amber Blush- I really love using this in the summer and the fall. It smells so warm... haha that doesn't make sense, but you know what I mean! Like you've been sitting at a bonfire for a couple hours roasting marshmallows. Even though amber isn't exactly sugar, it smells very sweet and sultry. Kinda sexy, too!
These creams retail at $13 each and it actually takes a very long time to use one up. They have mini versions of these too for travel and if you just want a smaller size. I think Bath and Body Works have one of the largest selections of scents available all year round, so there's a scent for everybody! These are my top 3 and I highly suggest you all go try these out!
Xoxo, Nat
The day we celebrate all things love, or in my case, myself! Ha-ha you know because I'm single. For all who are spending Valentine's Day with themselves or their pets, it's not a bad thing! I actually prefer staying in than going out to a movie or something. So a couple days ago I wanted to go pick up some Lush stuff for the upcoming weekend.
Now pampering myself has always been one of my favorite things to do. Either when I am feeling stressed or just need a bit of me-time. I have posted things in the past about finding your inner self by pampering and creating separate routines to do to refresh and revitalize your mind and body. Lush has been my major go-to for this and their products never fail.
Hello my lovelies. I feel like investing in a very nice, expensive perfume is something every woman needs to do. It does not have to be like three million dollars. A woman needs a bit of confidence before a big meeting, dinner, or even her own wedding day. And who wants to smell like rotten eggs on their wedding day? No one. So here I have one of my favorite scents that I have just discovered by Coach and I absolutely love it.
I have never tried any of the perfumes by Coach and I truly think that this scent in particular is great for everyone. It's fresh, sweet, and very light. Coach Poppy can be used pretty much any time of the year and I think that younger girls will like this perfume especially because it's not strong and it comes with a full size lotion that I use all the time on my arms and wrists. One thing I did notice was that there are different versions of this perfume and different sizes and designs as well. I honestly don't know if it's just a thing Coach does or the manufacturer changes it. That was only a little thing I noticed about this when I bought it. Other than that, this is one of the most fruity and floral scents I have smelled. It's pretty tiny but, one spritz goes a long way. I wore this all day and it still sneaked through after an eight-hour school day.
Great skincare has become very vital to my everyday routine. When I was younger, all I did was wake up, wet a washcloth, and be on my way out to school. Over the past dreadful years with dry, acne prone skin, I haven't left the house without a full face cleanse. Not only am I taking care of my face, I have also created a self-pamper ritual every night before I go to bed. When I wake up, I feel so refreshed. My skin is soft and there's no burning hands because gosh that would be annoying.
Finally! Garnier has brought their micellar water to the States! I am super excited to share this with all of you. Micellar water is just beginning to become more popular in the United States and I have no idea why they never made any for the drugstore until now. I love cleansing waters so much because of their makeup removing power and they are so hydrating. I use a small cotton pad, that you can get from pretty much anywhere, and I cleanse my face with it once in the morning and once at night. I have already been using the Simple micellar water as well and I think that its also an awesome cleanser. Those were the only two that I found at the drugstore and a reasonable price at that.
Hello Ladies! Today I wanted to share with you my summer shower routine because— let's face it— it's hot. And when there's hot, there's sweat. Who doesn't love a long, refreshing shower after a long day out in the sun?
1) Okay okay, before I start to get in the shower, I make sure I have everything I need. Shampoo, conditioner, all of that...
2) I usually start with a rinse and then I start with my hair. I think it makes sense to wash your hair then body because all of that used hair product will fall onto your already clean body anyways.
So I like to use Herbal Essences Body Envy volumizing shampoo and conditioner.
