St. Patrick's Day Necessities

Hello my lovelies! I hope everyone is ready to party for St. Patrick's Day! Whether you're having an early celebration like a party or a parade, here are a few things you might need on the "lucky" day!
I always love to dress up and let my inner Leprechaun shine! Here's an awesome trio that perfectly suits the theme of green and gold! Mary Kay has one of the largest varieties of shadows that are so pigmented and very creamy. I love this trio especially in the shade Earth Bound. Mary Kay has a huge collection of makeup on their website and I love all of their makeup.
Everybody needs a pot'o'gold right? This Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze is an amazing creme eye shadow. I love using it on as a base and I can usually get away with only wearing this as my eye makeup. You can easily blend it out (I like using my fingers). This creme eye shadow never creases and does really last a very long time. Perfect for a parade or party!
I also love painting my nails gold for St. Patrick's Day. This Miracle Gel by Sally Hanson really is a miracle in a bottle. I really love the way it lasts and looks on my nails!
To finish off your St. Patty's Day look, you need to add some green shamrocks to your pretty cheeks! After using the NYX Powder Blush in Terra Cotta to really give off a golden glow, use some green face paint and go nuts! Then top it all off with a bit of lipstick to make your look amazing!

A family tradition of mine every St. Patrick's Day is too not only have a little roast with cabbage and potatoes, for dessert we celebrate with our own, homemade Shamrock Shakes! Anyone can make these!

Ingredients:
-Green River (any other type of green/lime soda will do)
-Vanilla Ice cream or Lime Sherbet
-A Cup and a Straw

All you have to do is take a couple scoops of ice cream and pour some soda into the glass! So easy, right? Add a final touch with a cute straw (I couldn't really find a cute enough one haha).
I hope you guys have a great and safe holiday coming up and enjoy any type of way you're celebrating! How do you guys celebrate St. Patrick's Day? Leave comments below!

Active Wear | Favorites

Hello everyone! So I know everyone's been up on their New Year's resolutions...right?? Time to go exercise like we said we would! In all seriousness, I have found working out to be one of my favorite hobbies lately and I really enjoy the feeling of strength and accomplishment right after every workout. If you guys didn't already know, I love doing yoga. Yoga has officially taken over my life. I have been doing yoga for almost two years now! Isn't that crazy?? I have improved so much on my skills and I generally feel a lot better about myself now. I do something so personal and, for myself, that I never thought I would come to love. I am planning on doing a total separate yoga post very soon as it gets nicer out and maybe I can show you guys some of my poses (or "asanas" in yogi talk). Enough about that for now, every girl needs sweet workout/active wear to look totally bad-ass while she's grinding out those burpees or last 10 chatarungas.
My absolute favorite piece has been this Nike Sweatshirt that I have been wearing like three times a week. I love wearing it when I run or even if I'm just doing errands or going to school. First of all, let's talk about the obvious...it's flippin rose-gold. Like how cute is that? It's so warm and doesn't soak up any sweat or smell. I am also loving funnel necks and high collars. I love the detail of the emblem and the hood also makes me look like a bad-ass Jedi ready to take on the world (if only).

I have also been loving one of my all-time favorite yoga brands, Lululemon. Their workout gear has been my go-to for everything yoga related. These pants specifically are one of my favorites. The fabric is a "Full-On Luon fabric is sweat-wicking and four-way stretch with added support and coverage" and there is also "added Lycra® fibre bends with you and stays in great shape". These yoga pants really do perform and I always feel safe when wearing these because they are such a great quality that there's no panty lines showing through and they have a cute little pocket for your keys and cards!
Nike is one of my top favorite brands as you guys can tell. I especially love their running shoes. I own three stinkin' pairs. I love them so much! These are my favorite shoes out of them all. These are called the Nike Zoom Fly 2 and they are one of the most comfortable shoes I have worn in my enitre life-time. I love the color too. This bright coral can be seen from like two miles down the road!
I also have an obsession with sports bras for some reason. I think that they're incredibly comfy and easy to maneuver in. I recently purchased this Adidas sports bra and it is truly awesome! It's medium support and there's a mesh racer-back for the ultimate ventilation! So great for any type of workout.

I recommend you guys check out these brands for the best workout gear! It comes down to what you truly feel comfortable in! Whatever works for you. Is there any other brands I should try?

The Smoked Palette | Urban Decay

Hey guys! I love Urban Decay so much and have heard amazing things specifically on how great their eye shadows are. I recently purchased this from...guess where? Nordstrom Rack! I have been so obsessed with how great their deals are on makeup. This palette was only twenty bucks! I saw this and was completely drawn. Instead of your average Naked Palette review, here's a review on one of Urban Decay's older palettes that should still be sold and used today! I think this palette is great for everyone. There are so many great looks you can create with it. So what if this is an older palette? I think it's great and you all can purchase it here.

First of all, I know that for a lot of people, buying prestige or fancy makeup products can cost a lot. Doing a little Nordstrom Rack review here for you all, this store has amazing deals on products that are very expensive at retail. Up to 50% off on everything most of the time. They have many products and a ton of high name designers there too! A lot of the makeup I find is from there and I highly suggest you go check them out (sadly it's only here in America) and get some great deals! Plus, none of the items are bad or "expired" either so you really are getting an extraordinary deal.
So this palette comes in really cool packaging as you can see in the pictures. It kind of looks like a wallet because of the fabric and zipper. Lo and behold, it's not! There's an awesome mirror as well! There are like cool animal designs in it too. This palette is very smokey and a lot of people don't really prefer dark shades but, there are some "not-so-wild" shades in here as well. I am always looking for palettes with a variety of different shades because I am usually drawn to just gold or brown...and that's no fun right?
A bonus about this palette is that it came with a full-size eyeliner! It's so creamy and probably one of the best pencil liners eye have used. It was so creamy that I accidentally broke the tip! What a lot of people don't realize is that you can actually sharpen Urban Decay's pencil liners. Some people think that they can't. I guess it's just because the packaging looks intimidating or something. Also, it does really "glide-on" like the label says. You can really create a dramatic look if you wanted to. This palette also came with a mini travel-size primer potion that I accidentally forgot to show, oops!
Now the only downside I noticed was that some of the shadows came off a bit chalky. I found it better to apply these shadows wet and there was an even better color pay off. My top three shades that I loved on were: Mushroom, Barlust, and Rock star. There are matte and shimmery-metallic shades in this palette and you also have some light neutrals like Kinky and Freestyle (some weird names right?). You also get some awesome colors like the royal blue, plum, and emerald green, which I think compliment a lot of people. Sure this palette has a couple dark shades; it's a really nice variety of colors instead of having like a dark brown and a light brown.
I really enjoy this palette so much. I feel like sometimes it's okay to bring back the old and make it new again. We forget how awesome some products really are so I hope this is a reminder of how great Urban Decay was and is! This palette is great for travelling and anyone looking to spruce up their makeup regimen.

I hope you guys enjoyed this review and will be inspired to switch up your makeup a bit every now and then. What do you think of this palette? Leave comments down below!
